The Service enables the submission of text and supported documents for AI-assisted text-to-speech generation and delivery in one or more output formats, including WAV and MP3. We may add, remove, restrict, improve, or discontinue features, limits, file types, workflows, integrations, or delivery methods at any time.
We do not guarantee that any specific voice style, timing, pronunciation, accent, emotional tone, language mapping, compatibility standard, or delivery method will always remain available.
You are responsible for all activity conducted under your Account, whether or not authorized by you, unless prohibited by Applicable Law. You must:
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate Accounts where we reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, security compromise, policy violation, payment risk, or unlawful activity.
If auto top-up or a recurring replenishment feature is enabled on your Account, you authorize future charges in accordance with the configured thresholds and amounts until disabled, subject to our then-current implementation.
Because the Service involves the provision of digital services, processing time, compute costs, and generated outputs, charges are generally non-refundable once a job has been accepted for processing, except where required by Applicable Law or where we determine in our sole discretion that a refund, credit, or adjustment is appropriate.
You agree not to initiate unjustified chargebacks or payment disputes. If you do so, we reserve the right to recover costs, suspend services, terminate Accounts, and contest the dispute using available transaction records.
You must not use the Service to create, upload, process, transmit, store, or distribute Content or Output that:
You must not attempt to reverse engineer, probe, scrape at scale, benchmark without permission, overload, bypass limits, automate abusive usage, or interfere with normal operation of the Service.
You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have all rights, permissions, licenses, consents, and legal authority necessary to submit any Content and to request, use, reproduce, distribute, perform, publish, monetize, or otherwise exploit any Output.

Responsibility for intellectual property infringement or alleged infringement remains entirely with the user submitting the job. Users must take every reasonable measure to ensure they possess all required rights, licenses, permissions, and clearances before submitting any job.

The Service uses automated and AI-assisted systems. Output may contain inaccuracies, odd phrasing, pronunciation issues, timing problems, metadata errors, or other imperfections. We do not guarantee that Output will be error-free, uninterrupted, fit for a particular purpose, merchantable, non-infringing, culturally appropriate, legally suitable, or commercially usable in every jurisdiction or context.
You are responsible for reviewing Output before publication, broadcast, sale, distribution, or other real-world use.
We may store Content, Outputs, metadata, receipts, account records, transaction records, support logs, and related material for operational, support, audit, legal, abuse-prevention, or business continuity purposes. Delivery links, file retention periods, and storage methods may change from time to time.
Where download links or hosted files are time-limited, you remain responsible for downloading and securing your Outputs in a timely manner. We are not liable for loss resulting from expired links, deleted files, corrupted user devices, mail filtering, spam handling, or third-party storage platform issues.
By using the Service, you acknowledge that Content and account data may be processed by infrastructure providers, storage platforms, email providers, payment processors, security tools, and AI or compute systems reasonably used to provide the Service. You must not submit personal data, sensitive data, regulated data, or confidential information unless you are legally entitled to do so and the submission is compliant with Applicable Law.
You remain the controller or responsible party for data you submit, except to the extent otherwise required by law.
We may, at any time and without liability to you, refuse, block, remove, pause, flag, investigate, or terminate any Content, Output, Account, transaction, request, or use of the Service where we reasonably determine that doing so is necessary or desirable for legal compliance, risk management, abuse prevention, security, payment integrity, intellectual property concerns, operational continuity, or protection of our legitimate business interests.
The Service may be accessed internationally, but we make no representation that the Service, any Output, or these Terms & Conditions are appropriate, lawful, or available in every country or territory. Users access the Service on their own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, import/export controls, speech rules, media regulations, tax obligations, sanctions regimes, and consumer requirements applicable in their jurisdiction.

To the maximum extent permitted by Applicable Law, AIAuthor, OwnAI, voice.aiauthor.pub, and their respective owners, affiliates, operators, licensors, contractors, suppliers, processors, and service providers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, punitive, or enhanced damages, or for any loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, business interruption, goodwill loss, reputational harm, regulatory penalty, or third-party claim arising out of or relating to the Service, Content, Output, or these Terms & Conditions, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the three (3) months preceding the event, or (b) USD $100.

AIAuthor and OwnAI, together with associated names, logos, branding elements, get-up, service names, and marks used in connection with the Service, are trademarks, trade names, service marks, or unregistered brand identifiers of their respective owner(s), unless otherwise stated.
No right, title, or interest in or to any AIAuthor or OwnAI trademark, logo, trade dress, brand feature, domain, or marketing asset is granted to you except for the limited right to refer to the Service in a truthful, non-misleading, nominative manner where lawful. You must not use our marks in a way that suggests sponsorship, endorsement, affiliation, certification, partnership, or ownership without prior written permission.
The Service may depend on third-party providers including cloud hosts, payment processors, storage providers, email systems, AI engines, and networking or security services. We are not responsible for outages, failures, policy changes, losses, pricing changes, data handling practices, or acts or omissions of third-party providers, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded by law.
We may modify these Terms & Conditions and any related legal pages, including the Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, and Copyright & Takedown Policy, at any time by publishing updated versions on the website. The updated version becomes effective when posted or on the date stated in the revised terms. Your continued use of the Service after that time constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
